Vita
The young tenor, a native of Constance, Germany, performs as a soloist throughout Germany and neighboring countries. He has performed with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra, the baroque orchestras La Stagione Frankfurt, L'Arco Hannover and La Banda Augsburg.
He maintains several chamber music formations, with a particular focus on Lied. At the Zurich Opera House, he appeared in a children's production in 2019. Last summer he appeared in a production of J. Haydn's "Lo Speziale" in Konstanz (D). He has a close collaboration with Origen Festival Cultural (CH) and more recently with Montreux Jazz Festival China.
In the current season he recorded his first CD as soloist in Bach's St. John Passion with Gli Angeli Genève under Stephan Macleod.
He is a scholarship recipient of the LIEDBasel Festival and the Lyra Foundation, a recipient of sponsorship awards from his hometown of Constance, the Lake Zurich Music Organization, the Dienemann Foundation Lucerne, the Richard Wagner Association, and a participant in several international singing competitions.
From 2012-2016 he studied at the HfM Detmold with Prof. Gerhild Romberger, where he received important impulses. From 2016-2020 he deepened his studies with Prof. Werner Güra at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he graduated with distinction. Master classes with Margreet Honig, Ann Murray, Ingeborg Danz, Jard van Nes, Robert Holl, Benjamin Appl, Graham Johnson, David Selig, Malcom Martineau and Julius Drake complement his education.
Since last year he lives in Berlin.
