Maximilian Vogler, born in Konstanz, Germany, has performed as a soloist with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Rundfunksinfonie Orchester Berlin, the lautten compagney Berlin, La Scintilla Zürich, La Banda Augsburg, Gli Angeli Geneve, as well as L'arpa festante, the Jenaer Philharmonie, the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie and many more. He has a close connection with the Origen Festival Cultural in Switzerland, where he regularly curates and performs programs.

 

In April 2023 he made his debut at the Stuttgart State Opera in J.S Bach's “St. John Passion” (Ulrisch Rasche; Diego Fasolis). A recording of the same work with Gli Angeli Geneve, in which he sings the tenor arias, was also released in 2023. In the summer of 2023, he appeared in G. Paisiello's “La Molinara” at Rheinsberg Castle (Georg Quander; Bernhard Forck). A recording of Louis Spohr's “Des Heilands letzte Stunden” with the Kammerchor Stuttgart and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Frieder Bernius, on which he sings the role of Jesus, will be released in 2024.

 

He is a prizewinner of the Rheinsberg Chamber Opera, a recipient of a sponsorship award from his home town of Constance and the Richard Wagner Association, and a scholarship holder of the Lyra and Dienemann foundations. He studied with Gerhild Romberger (Detmold) and Werner Güra (Zurich). Master classes with M. Honig, A. Murray, I. Danz, R. Holl, G. Johnson, M. Martineau and J. Drake complement his training. He currently receives vocal coaching from John Norris (Berlin) and Andrew Owens (Zurich) and Sami Kustaloglu (Berlin).
